APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-eight thousand one | 0017| hundred seventy-five dollars ($28,175) is appropriated from the | 0018| general fund to the office of cultural affairs for expenditure | 0019| in fiscal years 1997 and 1998 for the purpose of contracting | 0020| for the collection, preservation and publication of New Mexico | 0021| corridos and related music for distribution to New Mexico | 0022| schools and libraries. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance | 0023| remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the | 0024| general fund. | 0025| Section 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public | 0001| peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately. | 0002|  |
