0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE LOS PASOS PROGRAM AT THE

0012|     UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO HEALTH SCIENCES CENTER.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     board of regents of the university of New Mexico for
    |
0018|     expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of expansion of
    |
0019|     program services of the Los Pasos program at the university of
    |
0020|     New Mexico health sciences center.  Any unexpended or
    |
0021|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998
    |
0022|     shall revert to the general fund.
