  that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
          1.  On page 1, lines 20 and 21, strike "six hundred dollars
  ($600)" and insert in lieu thereof "one thousand two hundred dollars
  ($1,200)".,
  
  and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
