0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ASSIST NEEDY CHILDREN IN OBTAINING

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two million dollars
    |
0016|     ($2,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     public health division of the department of health for
    |
0018|     expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of continuing
    |
0019|     the healthier kids program in the office of school health,
    |
0020|     which helps needy children obtain primary and specialty care. 
    |
0021|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0022|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
