0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A NURSING DISTANCE EDUCATION

0012|     PROGRAM.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred two thousand eight
    |
0016|     hundred dollars ($102,800) is appropriated from the general
    |
0017|     fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico
    |
0018|     for expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for the purpose of funding
    |
0019|     a baccalaureate nursing distance education program with on-site
    |
0020|     branches in Gallup in McKinley county as well as statewide. 
    |
0021|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0022|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
