      Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
  
                           SENATE BILL 8
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation
  that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
          1.  On page 3, line 9, remove the brackets and line through
  "approved" and strike the underscored "accredited".
  
          2.  On page 10, between lines 3 and 4, insert the following
  new section:
  
      "Section 9.  EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the
  provisions of this act is July 1, 1998.".
