      Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
  
             HOUSE APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE COMMITTEE
  SUBSTITUTE            FOR HOUSE BILL 1343
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation
  that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
      1.  On page 1, lines 11 and 12, strike "MAKING APPROPRIATIONS
  FOR THE PURPOSE OF CARRYING OUT" and insert in lieu thereof
  "PROVIDING FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF INCOME SUPPORT APPROPRIATIONS BY
  REQUIRING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF".
  
      2.  On page 1, line 18, strike "APPROPRIATIONS" and insert in
  lieu thereof "REQUIRING THAT CERTAIN INCOME SUPPORT APPROPRIATIONS
  IMPLEMENT THE PROVISIONS OF THE FAMILY ASSISTANCE AND INDIVIDUAL
  RESPONSIBILITY ACT".
  
      3.  On page 1, line 22, after "(1)" insert "the".

      5.  On page 2, line 1, after "the" insert "income support

      6.  On page 2, line 1, after "department" insert "in the
