0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO OPEN WEST MESA HIGH SCHOOL

0012|     FACILITIES AFTER REGULAR SCHOOL HOURS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One million dollars
    |
0016|     ($1,000,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state
    |
0017|     department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0018|     1998 for the purpose of opening West Mesa high school
    |
0019|     facilities after regular school hours and during spring break
    |
0020|     to allow maximum access to facilities on Albuquerque's growing
    |
0021|     west side.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0022|     the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
