0011|     RELATING TO CAPITAL EXPENDITURES; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR

0012|     CONSTRUCTION OF GUADALUPE PARK IN THE CITY OF ARTESIA IN EDDY

0013|     COUNTY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION--GUADALUPE PARK.--Three hundred
    |
0017|     twenty-nine thousand dollars ($329,000) is appropriated from
    |
0018|     the general fund to the local government division of the
    |
0019|     department of finance and administration for expenditure in
    |
0020|     fiscal years 1997 and 1998 for the purpose of constructing the
    |
0021|     Guadalupe park in the city of Artesia in Eddy county.  Any
    |
0022|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0023|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0024|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0025|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
