0011|     RELATING TO CAPITAL EXPENDITURES; MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FROM

0012|     THE EMPLOYMENT SECURITY DEPARTMENT FUND FOR CERTAIN LABOR

0013|     DEPARTMENT PROJECTS THROUGHOUT THE STATE; DECLARING AN
    |
0014|     EMERGENCY.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0018|               A.  Three hundred fifty-three thousand eighty-seven
    |
0019|     dollars ($353,087) is appropriated from the employment security
    |
0020|     department fund to the capital program fund for expenditure by
    |
0021|     the property control division of the general services
    |
0022|     department in fiscal years 1997 through 2001 for the following
    |
0023|     purposes:
    |
0024|                    (1)  twenty-five thousand four hundred fifty-
    |
0025|     nine dollars ($25,459) to renovate the mechanical systems of
    |
0001|     the Artesia office of the labor department located in Eddy
    |
0002|     county;
    |
0003|                    (2)  three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000)
    |
0004|     to renovate and make improvements to the Tiwa building of the
    |
0005|     labor department located in Bernalillo county; and
    |
0006|                    (3)  twenty-seven thousand six hundred twenty-
    |
0007|     eight dollars ($27,628) for roof replacement of the Hobbs
    |
0008|     office of the labor department located in Lea county.
    |
0009|               B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining

    |
0010|     at the end of fiscal year 2001 shall revert to the employment
    |
0011|     security department fund.
    |
0012|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0013|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
