       Your CONSUMER AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to
  whom has been referred
  
                       HOUSE BILL 1060
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
       1.  On page 1, line 16, after "The" insert "federal government
  requires the state to approve the establishment of all new methadone
  clinics.  In an effort to maintain compliance with the federal
  requirement, the".
  
       2.  On page 1, line 22, after "and" strike the remainder of
  the line, strike line 23 up to the period and insert in lieu thereof
  "develop clinical and administrative standards as required by
  federal law".,
  
  
  and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE
  COMMITTEE.
