  Mr. Speaker:
  
       Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
  
                       HOUSE BILL 1058
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
       1.  On page 1, line 15, insert the subsection designation
  "A.".
  
       2.  On page 1, line 20, before the period insert "for the
  following school districts in the following amounts:
            
            (1)  fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for Grants;
  
            (2)  fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for Silver City;
  
            (3)  fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for Las Cruces;
  
            (4)  fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for Portales; and
  
            (5)  fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for Gadsden".
  
       3.  On page 1, line 20, before "Any" insert the subsection
  designation "B.".,
  
  and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE
  COMMITTEE.
