0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR OPERATIONAL COSTS OF THE WORKFORCE

0013|     DEVELOPMENT CENTER AT THE ALBUQUERQUE TECHNICAL-VOCATIONAL

0014|     INSTITUTE IN BERNALILLO COUNTY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifteen thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($15,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0019|     governing board of the Albuquerque technical-vocational
    |
0020|     institute for expenditure in fiscal years 1997 and 1998 for the
    |
0021|     purpose of funding operations of the workforce development
    |
0022|     center of the Albuquerque technical-vocational institute in
    |
0023|     Bernalillo county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0024|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the
    |
0025|     general fund.
    |
0001|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0002|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.

0024|   fifty thousand dollars ($350,000)".

0001|        2.   On page 1, line 21, after the period insert "Local
    |
0002|   matching funds equal to this appropriation will be required.".
