0011| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO STUDY THE FEASIBILITY OF

0012| ESTABLISHING A NAVAJO RURAL SCHOOL DISTRICT.

0014| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
|
0016| ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New
|
0017| Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year
|
0018| 1998 for the purpose of studying the feasibility of
|
0019| establishing a Navajo rural school district. Any unexpended or
|
0020| unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1998
|
0021| shall revert to the general fund.
