0011| RELATING TO CAPITAL EXPENDITURES; CHANGING THE PURPOSE OF A

0013| ENVIRONMENT; MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE ENGINEER FOR

0014| ACEQUIA DE LA CIENEGA IMPROVEMENTS IN SANTA FE COUNTY;

0015| DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0017| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
|
0018| Section 1. SEVERANCE TAX BONDS--CHANGE OF AGENCY--CHANGE
|
0019| IN PURPOSE--APPROPRIATION.--The balance of the proceeds from
|
0020| severance tax bonds appropriated to the department of
|
0021| environment pursuant to Subsection X of Section 6 of Chapter 4
|
0022| of Laws 1996 (1st S.S.) for the purpose of installing a water
|
0023| system extension, including necessary improvements, to the
|
0024| village of La Cienega water system located in Santa Fe county
|
0025| shall not be expended for that purpose but is reauthorized and
|
0001| appropriated to the state engineer for the purpose of
|
0002| installing a supplemental well and pipeline for the acequia de
|
0003| La Cienega in Santa Fe county.
|
0004| Section 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
|
0005| peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
