0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO HEALTH

0012|     SCIENCES CENTER PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0016|               A.  Six hundred three thousand dollars ($603,000) is
    |
0017|     appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of
    |
0018|     the university of New Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0019|     1998 in the following amounts for the following purposes:
    |
0020|                    (1)  five hundred three thousand dollars
    |
0021|     ($503,000) for the purpose of providing start-up funds to
    |
0022|     expand the doctor of pharmacy program at the health sciences
    |
0023|     center; and
    |
0024|                    (2)  one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000)
    |
0025|     for library acquisitions at the health sciences center.
    |
0001|               B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0002|     at the end of fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general
    |
0003|     fund.
