       1.   On page 1, line 20, after "a" insert "petty". 
  
       2.   On page 2, line 17, strike the comma, and insert in lieu
  thereof "or".  
  
       3.   On page 2, line 18, after "any fire" insert "which is
  authorized and".,
  
  and thence referred to the TAXATION AND REVENUE
  COMMITTEE.
