0011| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAMMING RELATED

0012| TO SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT AND PREVENTION FOR NATIVE

0015| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
|
0016| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred fifty thousand
|
0017| dollars ($150,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
|
0018| department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 1998 for
|
0019| the purpose of funding northwest New Mexico fighting back, a
|
0020| community-based organization that seeks to reduce the demand
|
0021| for alcohol and drugs through community organizing and public
|
0022| awareness in McKinley, Cibola and San Juan counties. Any
|
0023| unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
|
0024| fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
