0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR STATEWIDE FOOD AND NUTRITION

0012|     EDUCATION PROGRAMS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION--FOOD AND NUTRITION PROGRAMS.--
    |
0016|     Four hundred seventy thousand dollars ($470,000) is
    |
0017|     appropriated from the general fund to the board of regents of
    |
0018|     New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal year 1998
    |
0019|     by the cooperative extension service of the college of
    |
0020|     agriculture and home economics to provide food and nutrition
    |
0021|     education services to low-income families throughout the state. 
    |
0022|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0023|     fiscal year 1998 shall revert to the general fund.
