0011|     RELATING TO STATE AIRCRAFT; REPEALING THE STATE AIRCRAFT ACT;
    |
0012|     PROVIDING FOR THE TRANSFER OF AIRCRAFT AND FUNDS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  TEMPORARY PROVISION--TRANSFER OF AIRCRAFT AND
    |
0016|     MONEY.--On the effective date of this act, the passenger
    |
0017|     aircraft owned by the general services department shall be
    |
0018|     transferred back to the agencies from which they were
    |
0019|     transferred pursuant to Laws 1994, Chapter 135, Section 5.  Any
    |
0020|     contractual obligations related to the ownership, operation or
    |
0021|     maintenance of the passenger aircraft shall also be transferred
    |
0022|     and be binding on the transferee.  On the effective date of
    |
0023|     this act, any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining in
    |
0024|     the aviation services fund shall be transferred to the general
    |
0025|     fund.
    |
0001|          Section 2.  REPEAL.--Sections 15-9-1 through 15-9-5 NMSA
    |
0002|     1978 (being Laws 1994, Chapter 135, Sections 1 through 4, Laws
    |
0003|     1995, Chapter 49, Section 3 and Laws 1994, Chapter 135, Section
    |
0004|     5, as amended) are repealed.
    |
0005|          Section 3.  EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the
    |
0006|     provisions of this act is July 1, 1997.
