0011|     MAKING APPROPRIATIONS AND AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURES FOR THE
    |
0012|     STATE FAIR COMMISSION.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  SHORT TITLE.--This act may be cited as the
    |
0016|     "State Fair Commission Appropriations Act".
    |
0017|          Section 2.  DEFINITIONS.--As used in the State Fair
    |
0018|     Commission Appropriations Act:
    |
0019|               A.  "federal funds" means payments by the United
    |
0020|     States government or state agencies for specific purposes or in
    |
0021|     lieu of taxes, including grants, reimbursements and payments
    |
0022|     made in accordance with contracts or cooperative agreements and
    |
0023|     shared revenue except those payments made in accordance with
    |
0024|     the federal Mineral Lands Leasing Act of 1920 and the State and
    |
0025|     Local Fiscal Assistance Act of 1972; and
    |
0001|               B.  "other state funds" means:
    |
0002|                    (1)  unencumbered balances in state agency
    |
0003|     accounts appropriated by the General Appropriation Act of 1996;
    |
0004|     and
    |
0005|                    (2)  all revenue available to state agencies
    |
0006|     from sources other than the general fund and federal funds.
    |
0007|          Section 3.  FORMAT.--The general format of the
    |
0008|     appropriations set forth in the State Fair Commission
    |
0009|     Appropriations Act with respect to symbols used, column
    |
0010|     headings and stating of amounts is that used in the General
    |
0011|     Appropriation Act of 1996.
    |
0012|          Section 4.  FISCAL YEAR 1998 APPROPRIATIONS.--
