0012|     AUTHORIZING AND RATIFYING THE PROPOSED SALE OF A TRACT OF LAND
    |
0013|     LOCATED IN ALBUQUERQUE AND CURRENTLY OWNED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF
    |
0014|     PUBLIC SAFETY.

    |
0016|       WHEREAS, Section 13-6-3 NMSA 1978 requires legislative
    |
0017|     ratification and approval of the sale of any land belonging to a
    |
0018|     state agency, that sale being for consideration of one hundred
    |
0019|     thousand dollars ($100,000) or more; and
    |
0020|       WHEREAS, the department of public safety currently owns a
    |
0021|     piece of property on Menual boulevard in Albuquerque, which the
    |
0022|     department has determined to be surplus property; and
    |
0023|       WHEREAS, the property owned by the department of public
    |
0024|     safety is described as a certain parcel of land situate within
    |
0025|     the city limits of the city of Albuquerque, Bernalillo county,
    |
0001|     New Mexico being and comprising the northerly 125 feet of Joseph
    |
0002|     Reay tract parcel "A-1" to the city of Albuquerque, New Mexico
    |
0003|     as the same is shown and designated on said plat filed in the
    |
0004|     office of the county clerk of Bernalillo county, New Mexico on
    |
0005|     March 31, 1988 (Bk. C36-44); and
    |
0006|       WHEREAS, individuals have expressed an interest in the
    |
0007|     purchase of the property described above;
    |
0008|       NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE
    |
0009|     STATE OF NEW MEXICO that the proposed sale of the tract of land
    |
0010|     located on Menaul boulevard, owned by the department of public
    |
0011|     safety, and described herein, be ratified and approved pursuant
    |
0012|     to the provisions of Section 13-6-3 NMSA 1978; and
    |
0013|       BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be
    |
0014|     transmitted to the department of public safety and the general
    |
0015|     services department.
