0012|     ADDING A NEW JOINT RULE 11-1 TO REGULATE SMOKING IN THE CAPITOL.

0014|     BE IT RESOLVED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|       WHEREAS, Legislative Joint Rule 8-1 requires that joint
    |
0016|     rules be adopted, amended or repealed by concurrent resolution
    |
0017|     approved by two-thirds of the membership of each house;
    |
0018|       NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF
    |
0019|     REPRESENTATIVES, THE SENATE CONCURRING THEREIN that the
    |
0020|     following new proposed Joint Rule 11-1 be adopted to read:
    |
0021|       "SMOKING IN STATE CAPITOL (11-1)
    |
0022|       Smoking is prohibited in the state capitol except for
    |
0023|     legislators in a legislator's office if the office is well-ventilated and if a legislator who shares the office does not
    |
0024|     object.".
