0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN EDUCATION DEGREE PROGRAM AT THE

0013|     GALLUP BRANCH OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand
    |
0017|     dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     board of regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure
    |
0019|     in fiscal year 1997 for the purpose of funding an education
    |
0020|     degree program at the Gallup branch of the university of New
    |
0021|     Mexico.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the
    |
0022|     end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
