0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR AN AGRICULTURALLY ORIENTED EDUCATION

0013|     PROGRAM FOR AT-RISK YOUTH.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0018|     children, youth and families department for expenditure in
    |
0019|     fiscal year 1997 for the purpose of contracting with an
    |
0020|     agriculturally oriented experiential education training program,
    |
0021|     to include personal development counseling and job training, for
    |
0022|     at-risk youth in any class A county with a population of more
    |
0023|     than three hundred thousand.  Any unexpended or unencumbered
    |
0024|     balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to
    |
0025|     the general fund.
