0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Forty-five thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($45,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0019|     corrections department for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for
    |
0020|     the purpose of contracting for services to provide transitional
    |
0021|     housing and education in Bernalillo county for parolees from
    |
0022|     throughout the state.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0023|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the
    |
0024|     general fund.
