0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR A

0013|     YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Ninety-nine thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($99,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of
    |
0018|     regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in
    |
0019|     fiscal year 1997 for a youth program that teaches high school
    |
0020|     students leadership skills and encourages their enrollment in
    |
0021|     college.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0022|     the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
