0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO ESTABLISH CULTURAL AND HISPANIC

0013|     HISTORY PROGRAMS IN THE CITY OF ALBUQUERQUE LOCATED IN

0014|     BERNALILLO COUNTY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Twenty-three thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($23,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local
    |
0019|     government division of the department of finance and
    |
0020|     administration for expenditure in fiscal years 1996 and 1997 for
    |
0021|     the purpose of contracting with nonprofit neighborhood
    |
0022|     organizations to establish cultural and Hispanic history
    |
0023|     programs for youth in the city of Albuquerque located in
    |
0024|     Bernalillo county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0025|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the
    |
0001|     general fund.
    |
0002|       Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0003|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.
