0012|     RELATING TO PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS; REPEALING THE PUBLIC WORKS

0013|     MINIMUM WAGE ACT.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  SAVING CLAUSE.--The provisions of this act
    |
0017|     apply to contracts entered into on or after the effective date
    |
0018|     of this act and shall not affect any contract entered into
    |
0019|     pursuant to the Public Works Minimum Wage Act prior to the
    |
0020|     effective date of this act.
    |
0021|       Section 2.  REPEAL.--Sections 13-4-10 through 13-4-17 NMSA
    |
0022|     1978 (being Laws 1963, Chapter 304, Section 1, Laws 1965,
    |
0023|     Chapter 35, Sections 1 through 4, Laws 1963, Chapter 304,
    |
0024|     Section 5 and Laws 1937, Chapter 179, Sections 4 and 5, as
    |
0025|     amended) are repealed.
    |
0001|       Section 3.  EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the
    |
0002|     provisions of this act is July 1, 1996.
