0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A NURSING DEGREE PROGRAM AT THE

0013|     GALLUP BRANCH OF THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO.

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand
    |
0017|     ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the board of
    |
0018|     regents of the university of New Mexico for expenditure in
    |
0019|     fiscal year 1997 for the purpose of funding a nursing degree
    |
0020|     program at the Gallup branch of the university of New Mexico. 
    |
0021|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0022|     fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
