0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE OFFICE OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS TO

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Five hundred thousand dollars
    |
0018|     ($500,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the office
    |
0019|     of cultural affairs for expenditure in fiscal years 1996 and
    |
0020|     1997 by the arts division of the office of cultural affairs to
    |
0021|     provide touring services of symphonic music to communities
    |
0022|     throughout the state.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0023|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the
    |
0024|     general fund.
    |
0025|       Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0001|         peace, health and safety that this act take effect immediately.                     State of New Mexico
