0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION--OFFICE OF CULTURAL AFFAIRS.--
    |
0018|     Four hundred eighty-five thousand dollars ($485,000) is
    |
0019|     appropriated from the general fund to the office of cultural
    |
0020|     affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 to contract for
    |
0021|     services for the promotion of Hispanic music throughout the
    |
0022|     state, including conducting workshops, shows and concerts and
    |
0023|     awarding scholarships.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0024|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the
    |
0025|     general fund.
