0012|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE SIXTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT FOR THE

0013|     PURPOSE OF CONTRACTING FOR SPECIAL MASTER SERVICES AND OPERATING

0014|     THE COURT-APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATE PROGRAM.

0016|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0017|       Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0018|            A.  Sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) is appropriated
    |
0019|     from the general fund to the sixth judicial district for
    |
0020|     expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for the following purposes:
    |
0021|                 (1)  fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000) to
    |
0022|     contract for special master services; and
    |
0023|                 (2)  five thousand dollars ($5,000) to operate
    |
0024|     the court-appointed special advocate program.
    |
0025|            B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining
    |
0001|         at the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.                      State of New Mexico
