0008| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:          Section 1.  SEVERANCE TAX BONDS--DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND

0009| ADMINISTRATION--CHANGE IN PURPOSE--APPROPRIATION.--The balance of the
    |
0010| proceeds from severance tax bonds appropriated to the local government division of the
    |
0011| department of finance and administration for adding a recreation room to the Placitas community
    |
0012| center located in Dona Ana county, pursuant to Subsection YYYY of Section 9 of Chapter 148
    |
0013| of Laws 1994, shall not be expended for its original purpose but is reauthorized and appropriated
    |
0014| to continue improvements and renovations to the Placitas community center located in Dona Ana
    |
0015| county.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining from the proceeds from the bonds
    |
0016| at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the severance tax bonding fund.
    |
0017|      Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public peace, health and safety
    |
0018|                                                               that this act take effect immediately.
