0005| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0006|      Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
    |
0007| ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department
    |
0008| of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for the purpose
    |
0009| of contracting for professional development training for school leaders. 
    |
0010| Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal
    |
0011| year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
