0005| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0006|      Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Seventy-five thousand dollars
    |
0007| ($75,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the mental health
    |
0008| division of the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 1997
    |
0009| for the purpose of contracting for wilderness-based community leadership
    |
0010| programs, for youth who fall along a continuum of risk, that use
    |
0011| wilderness activities and challenges with principles of experiential
    |
0012| education to build self-esteem and a positive youth culture.  Any
    |
0013| unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year
    |
0014| 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
