0005| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0006|      Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
    |
0007| ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New Mexico
    |
0008| office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year 1997 for the
    |
0009| purpose of studying the feasibility of establishing a Navajo rural
    |
0010| school district.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0011| the end of fiscal year 1997 shall revert to the general fund.
