AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT TO CONDUCT A FEASIBILITY STUDY OF ESTABLISHING A NATIONAL MUSEUM OF NEW DEAL ART.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal years 2025 and 2026 to conduct a feasibility study of establishing a national museum of new deal art. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2026 shall revert to the general fund.
