    Your CONSERVATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 8

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 2, line 3, strike "and geothermal".

    2. On page 2, line 4, strike "resources".

    3. On page 2, between lines 4 and 5, insert a new paragraph as follows:

                      "(2) the New Mexico institute of mining and technology to work toward developing and promoting innovation in and expanding geothermal resources;".

    4. Renumber the succeeding paragraphs accordingly.,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
