AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH TO CONTRACT WITH A PROGRAM TO REDUCE RISK FACTORS AND PROMOTE RESILIENCY THROUGH PROGRAMMING FOR YOUTH.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 2023 to contract with a program that provides youth development to reduce risk factors and promote resiliency through programming for youth who are trained in leadership development, media production, narrative strategy, civic engagement and early childhood development. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2023 shall revert to the general fund.
