AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT TO ALLOW THE INTERAGENCY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PURCHASING COLLABORATIVE TO ENTER INTO CONTRACTS FOR SERVICES TO PROVIDE FAMILY PEER SUPPORT AND REFERRALS TO FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN IN NEED OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year 2023 to allow the interagency behavioral health purchasing collaborative to enter into contracts for services to provide peer support and referrals to families with children in need of behavioral health services. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2023 shall revert to the general fund.
