AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES DEPARTMENT FOR THE CREATION OF A ONE-STOP FAMILY CENTER IN DONA ANA COUNTY THAT PROVIDES SOCIAL SERVICES RELATED TO FOOD, HOUSING, HEALTH CARE, TRANSPORTATION, PARENTAL SUPPORT, EDUCATION AND MENTORING.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Four million seven hundred sixty thousand dollars ($4,760,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the children, youth and families department for expenditure in fiscal years 2023 through 2025 to create a one-stop family center in Dona Ana county that provides social services related to food, housing, health care, transportation, parental support, education and mentoring. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2025 shall revert to the general fund.
