AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT DIVISION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND REVITALIZATION OF THE WEST CENTRAL AVENUE CORRIDOR IN ALBUQUERQUE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the local government division of the department of finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 2023 to promote economic development and revitalization of the west Central avenue corridor in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county by contracting with a community organization for services to facilitate communication and collaboration with neighborhood and merchant associations in Albuquerque. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2023 shall revert to the general fund.
