SENATE TAX, BUSINESS AND TRANSPORTATION
COMMITTEE SUBSTITUTE FOR
SENATE BILL 137
has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
1. On page 1, lines 13 and 14, strike "; MAKING APPROPRIATIONS".
2. On page 3, between lines 3 and 4, insert the following:
"D. A qualifying municipality shall apply for an allocation from the fund on forms and in a manner as required by the local government division of the department of finance and administration.".
3. Reletter the succeeding subsection accordingly.
4. On page 3, line 19, strike "municipality in conjunction with the".
5. On page 9, strike Sections 3 and 4 in their entirety and insert in lieu thereof the following new section:
"SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATE.--The effective date of the provisions of Section 2 of this act is October 1, 2022.".
6. Renumber the succeeding section accordingly.
