AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE TO FUND WINE PRODUCTION BY NEW MEXICO WINERIES.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two million dollars ($2,000,000) is appropriated from the appropriation contingency fund to the board of regents of New Mexico state university for expenditure in fiscal years 2022 through 2025 for the New Mexico department of agriculture to fund and provide feedstock for the production of wine by New Mexico wineries. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2025 shall revert to the appropriation contingency fund.
