AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A STATEWIDE LANDSCAPE ASSESSMENT TO ESTABLISH THE AMERICASERVES NEW MEXICO PROGRAM.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

     SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the higher education department for expenditure in fiscal year 2023 to enable central New Mexico community college to implement the statewide landscape assessment for the establishment of the AmericaServes New Mexico program. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2023 shall revert to the general fund.
