Mr. Speaker:

 

    Your JUDICIARY COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

 

HOUSE BILL 2, as amended

 

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

 

     1. On page 4, line 11, after "resins", strike the remainder of the line, strike lines 12 and 13 and insert in lieu thereof ", tetrahydrocannabinols or other substances from cannabis by extraction methods approved by the division; and".

 

     2. On page 25, line 13, after the period, insert "Smoking in a cannabis consumption area on a licensed premises shall be allowed only if the cannabis consumption area is in a designated smoking area or in a standalone building from which smoke does not infiltrate other indoor workplaces or other indoor public places where smoking is otherwise prohibited pursuant to the Dee Johnson Clean Indoor Air Act.".

 

     3. On page 53, line 5, after "Act", insert a period and strike the remainder of the line, strike all of lines 6 through 8 and insert in lieu thereof "Nothing in this subsection prevents law enforcement, the children, youth and families department or the courts from acting in the best interests of the minor child.".

 

     4. On page 56, line 11, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof "or".

 

     5. On page 56, line 14, strike "and" and insert in lieu thereof "or".

 

     6. On page 62, line 4, after "extract", insert "from homegrown cannabis".

 

     7. On page 62, line 5, after the period, insert "The use of any other solvent or process is expressly prohibited unless it is approved by the division.".

 

     8. On page 176, line 16, strike "and".

 

     9. On page 177, line 10, after "omission", insert a semicolon and on lines 10 through 12, remove the brackets and line-through.

 

     10. On page 177, line 12, strike "V" and insert in lieu thereof "T".,
