Mr. President:

    Your HEALTH AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred

SENATE BILL 145

has had it under consideration and reports same with recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:

    1. On page 1, after line 25, insert the following new section:

    "SECTION 2. Section 61-4-17 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1979, Chapter 77, Section 2, as amended) is amended to read:

    "61-4-17. TERMINATION OF AGENCY LIFE--DELAYED REPEAL.--The chiropractic board is terminated on July 1, [2021] 2027 pursuant to the Sunset Act. The board shall continue to operate according to the provisions of the Chiropractic Physician Practice Act until July 1, [2022] 2028. Effective July 1, [2022] 2028, the Chiropractic Physician Practice Act is repealed."".

    2. Renumber the succeeding sections accordingly.

    3. On page 5, between lines 4 and 5, insert the following new section:

    "SECTION 12. Section 61-14D-19 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1993, Chapter 325, Section 19, as amended) is amended to read:

    "61-14D-19. TERMINATION OF AGENCY LIFE--DELAYED REPEAL.--The athletic trainer practice board is terminated on July 1, [2021] 2027 pursuant to the provisions of the Sunset Act. The board shall continue to operate according to the provisions of the Athletic Trainer Practice Act until July 1, [2022] 2028. Effective July 1, [2022] 2028, Chapter 61, Article 14D NMSA 1978 is repealed."".,

and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
