HOUSE FLOOR AMENDMENT number ___3__ to HOUSE BILL 5

Amendment sponsored by Representative William "Bill" R. Rehm

    1. On page 2, line 1, after the comma, insert "no more than five of which shall be from the same political party,".

    2. On page 2, line 3, strike "and".

    3. On page 2, line 5, strike the period and insert the following:

    "; and

             (3) the appointing authorities shall make every effort to ensure economic, geographic, gender, cultural and racial diversity among the appointed members.".
