AN ACT
MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CULTURAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT FOR THE PROVISION OF EDUCATIONAL, HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL PROGRAMS COMMEMORATING AND CELEBRATING THE TWO HUNDREDTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE OPENING OF TRADE ALONG THE SANTA FE TRAIL.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the cultural affairs department for expenditure in fiscal years 2021 and 2022 to provide educational, historical and cultural programs at community museums and libraries in Santa Fe, San Miguel, Mora, Colfax and Union counties to commemorate and celebrate the two hundredth anniversary of the opening of trade along the Santa Fe trail. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2022 shall revert to the general fund.
